I saw the benefits of the psychodynamic approach during some years of providing pastoral care. I undertook a further 6 years of training to gain accredited qualifications in psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy.  I attend regular confidential supervision and frequent CPD courses ('Continuing Professional Development'). 

Qualifications
  • Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling (Wessex Counselling & Psychotherapy) (accredited by BACP 'British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy')

  • Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (Enfield Counselling & Psychotherapy) (accredited by BPC 'British Psychoanalytic Council').

Before training as a psychodynamic therapist, I gained a bachelor's degree in theology, a graduate diploma in ministry and a certificate in spiritual direction.
